Managing Director
Josh Old
As a mechanical engineer with over 16 years of experience in the mining industry, Josh drives asset performance and business value for mining
companies.
Focused on delivering real, meaningful results, Josh is a highly respected leader and trusted partner for businesses across the globe – from copper mines in Peru to iron ore mines in Brazil, to diamond mines in Africa, to businesses producing Coal, Gold, Lithium and other commodities more locally in Australia. Josh’s deep understanding of asset management and maintenance, together with operational business strategy, allows him to provide fact-based insights and deliver targeted actions that transform site performance.
His drive and entrepreneurial spirit has seen Core Asset Co. grow into a specialised, sector-leading consultancy in just a few short years. Well known for his genuine and straight-talking style, Josh cares about delivering meaningful results.
Operations Manager
Ben Neroni
An engineer with over a decade of leadership experience in mining, Ben is well known for his ability to identify and solve complex mining challenges. His understanding of client businesses and their requirements means Ben moves into action quickly and with effect.
Ben has a history of implementing successful business change programs in the mining industry and other sectors. He thinks about problems differently and uses data and logic to shape more effective ways of working.
Ben is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for Core Asset Co.’s project portfolio. His leadership style is well suited to Core Asset Co. supporting the team to deliver projects.
Graham Willetts
For 40 years, Graham has been delivering business process improvements to successful mining operations – domestically and globally. Having held several technical and general manager-level leadership roles with top-tier mining companies, Graham has been instrumental in planning, reliability, procurement, SAP, frontline leadership and continuous improvement programs.
Graham’s ability to see “the whole chess board” enables a holistic approach to business improvement and change management.
Samantha Toms
Samantha has a Bachelor of Business Management and over 10 years of experience in administration and office support. Playing a critical role in the team, Samantha is responsible for developing operational systems and strategies. While managing the day-to-day running of the business with a focus on team management, she ensures a high level of client support.
